***IMPORTANT***

You can use this camshaft in a 12.7L engine without modifying the gear set up. If you have a 14L DDECIV you can also use this without modification. However if you are wanting to use this in a 14L DDECV  that has the camshaft gear housing instead of the dowel pin assembly, you will need to purchase an adapter. The adapter is part#LDSS60 and can be purchased for an additional $265.

If using this camshaft in a 14L engine the common injector to pair with this are the DDR414703007 (some ecm tuning necessary on pulse width). Valve lash needs to be set to .008 for intake and .020 for the exhaust. Injector needs to be set the same as normal for a DDEC 5 (see the service manual) not set with a tool but by bottoming it out at max stroke and backing off ¾ turn.
